How this doctor can help:

Modern lifestyles contribute to an increasing number of gastroenterological issues, which Dr. Vladimir Milivojević encounters in his practice. These problems can range from mild symptoms like bloating and gas to more serious conditions that affect quality of life, such as digestive disorders, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting.
A common condition Dr. Milivojević deals with is reflux disease, characterized by heartburn and stomach acid. Dyspepsia, or impaired digestion, can have various causes, including stomach ulcers, Helicobacter pylori infection, and gastritis. In these cases, patients are offered thorough diagnostics and tailored treatments. Early intervention can prevent many serious complications.
Dr. Milivojević specializes in treating patients with resistant Helicobacter pylori infections. In cases where standard treatments are ineffective, especially in treating resistant strains of this bacteria, Dr. Milivojević employs advanced methods like PCR testing to detect antibiotic resistance, ensuring effective treatment.

Professional philosophy and approach to patient care:

“If you’re under 45 and experiencing any issues that could indicate the presence of Helicobacter pylori, see a gastroenterologist. Younger patients can easily determine the presence of the bacteria through non-invasive breath tests. Once detected, the bacteria can usually be treated very effectively and simply, preventing chronic diseases and further complications.”
“Gastroenterological problems aren’t always obvious; sometimes they manifest through less common symptoms like hoarseness, throat dryness, bad breath, or respiratory issues. If you’re suffering from these symptoms and haven’t found a solution, consider visiting a gastroenterologist—there’s a chance you might have reflux disease.”
